Support the Friends of Vision Literacy

Your financial contribution directly benefits our entire community by increasing access to literacy services. We invite you to partner with us to help those with low literacy skills become more productive community members.

$50 supports tutor training for one volunteer
$100 provides books for a family with young readers.
$500 sponsors a workshop for 20 learners or tutors

Friends of Vision Literacy is a 501 (c)(3) corporation, so your membership is tax deductible.

Make a resource contribution
In-kind donations enhance all our programs and services. Please call 408.262.1349 for more information on donating items. We gratefully accept new and gently used:

Books and educational materials
Technology equipment and software
Family literacy resources including meals and children's books
Reference materials.

Corporate Matching Donations
Many companies have programs through which they will "match" the charitable contributions made by their employees. Through corporate gift matching, your employer can multiply your gift to Vision Literacy, making it go further.

Check with your company's Human Resources office to see if they offer gift matching. (If they don't, you may want to ask your company to start one.) If your employer does offer this program, your Human Resources department should provide you with a matching gift form to send to Vision Literacy along with your donation. Complete this form and mail it with your donation to:
